I am beyond pleased with the work/service done on my 2020 vehicle. The services were completed, and the results were exceptional. I would not hesitate to recommend Sierra Honda to others in need of services in the future.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Sierra Honda of Monrovia-Service Department for its commitment, dedication, and perseverance in helping with my vehicle. It's true what they say: there is POWER in numbers...but also, I want to take a moment to place Mr. John Howard III in the spotlight; he is the definition of a TRUE LEADER from the initial intake of my vehicle; it was very apparent that he has clear communication-respect-and values his service team he shows up as an authentic leader (who inspires and builds those around him). The team and Mr. John Howard III communicated with such poise and professionalism both within and the way I was treated (I felt heard and validated).
Throughout the service appointment, I was in the loop (I knew exactly what was happening with my vehicle). This is when I learned that TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY hold truth at Sierra Honda of Monrovia!

I can't speak highly enough about Darrell Brannon and his team!!
They are incredibly helpful and very friendly. We went in on a Saturday to get regular maintenance done on my CRV and needed to kill some time, so Darrell got us a Lyft to the nearest breakfast spot so we could enjoy some eats while we waited.

NEED EXCELLENT HONDA SERVICE?
YESSI & her team make this the best Honda Dealership I've been to thus far in SoCal and I've been to many not mentioned in this review.
My car would play static and random beeps at full volume through all my speakers even with the radio off and it was excruciating pain for my daughter and I. There was no way to turn it off except to turn the car off completely and not drive it, or to repeatedly buckle/unbuckle the seatbelt some 25-50+ times to glitch the static from playing and ultimately disabling the sound all together. I tried to get help at Honda of Pasadena and they couldn't provide me with my Extended Warranty Information to know whether this type of issue would be covered. I had to contact Honda America Corporate, and they also were unable to provide that information and referred me to the dealership which I originally purchased it from. I've since moved and was unable to take it to that dealership, who still didn't provide me with the warranty information I was seeking over the phone, but did recommend taking it to another Honda Dealership apart from the Pasadena one, who told me my car was old and that these types of things happen to older cars. It's a 2017 Accord Hybrid, and no car should have this type of issue, and furthermore, from the Honda forums, I found others who were also experiencing this issue with their newer models.
I then went to Yessi at Sierra Honda of Monrovia, and she did what no others before her could do, by providing a print out of my warranty with the date of expiration and we found I had about 2 weeks left to get the repairs in before that date. She worked well at communicating all the aspects of the inspection/repairs, got me in a very nice loaner car, and helped get my car back to the same condition as when I purchased it. She and her team are amazing! 5-STARS for their service team. They helped restore my trust in Honda and should be recognized by corporate. I ended up finding the car I wanted near my birthday and I love my Honda CRV hybrid. I come here for service as well and I enjoy the customer service too.
Darrell helped me with the recall today and it was done in a little over an hour.

Oct 20, 2020Previous reviewI started my search on the web and Edgar contacted me regarding the car I was looking for. He was very transparent from the beginning and gave me my options and sent me the quote for final price. I had scheduled an appointment to test drive on Saturday, but was in the area Friday. Since Edgar was busy, Paul assisted me. I test drove the car and decided to purchase it. Paul was just as transparent and friendly as Edgar, and Edgar followed up afterwards. Tony from financing was also just as friendly and was a fellow dog owner. Paul also reviewed the specifics of the car and everyone let me know if I had any questions to contact them.. It was an overall pleasant and painless experience and I will recommend anyone who is in the hunt for a Honda.

Title: A Suspiciously "Cookie-Cutter" Yelp Review - Beware!
I recently came across a Yelp review that caught my attention, and I felt compelled to share my thoughts with the community. It seems like the perfect example of a review that raises red flags, suggesting a potential case of dishonesty and a fake experience. I strongly advise everyone to exercise caution when considering this company's credibility. I will also add that this is towards JOHN HOWARD THE 3rd, the new service drive manager. This is what the people in the lobby told me.
The review in question bears an uncanny resemblance to another individual's review, almost as if it was copy-pasted with minor alterations. This striking similarity raises suspicions that this particular reviewer may have been compensated or influenced to leave a positive review, compromising the authenticity of the feedback.
Authenticity is the cornerstone of online reviews. We rely on them to make informed decisions and trust the experiences shared by others. However, encountering reviews that appear to be manufactured or inauthentic can be disheartening and misleading.
It's important to remember that not all companies engage in such practices, and this should not be a reason to dismiss a company outright. Additionally, I would like to mention that as a result of my discovery, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Specifically, I will be visiting another Honda dealership that has built a reputation for honest practices and does not engage in shady activities with Yelp reviews.
As a business owner myself(Law Firm) , I understand the importance of maintaining transparency and building trust with customers. It is crazy to witness a company resorting to deceptive practices in an attempt to manipulate their online reputation and deceive potential customers.
I firmly believe that an honest company, one that prioritizes genuine customer experiences over manipulating review platforms, is deserving of our support. By choosing to patronize businesses that uphold integrity and transparency, we can encourage a culture of honesty and accountability within the marketplace.
In conclusion, I urge everyone to be cautious of companies that prioritize image control over genuine customer satisfaction. Let us support businesses that prioritize honesty and transparency, creating an environment where trust and authenticity prevail.
I would like to emphasize that I have personally experienced multiple instances where I was approached and pressured to change my previous year's reviews. Although I reluctantly complied on those occasions, I have now firmly decided not to engage in such practices again. I find it highly unethical and deceptive.
To ensure that I am no longer contacted by the dealership, I have taken the initiative to create a new Yelp account. By doing so, I aim to protect myself from any further attempts to manipulate or influence my reviews. This should serve as a clear indication that I will no longer be visiting this particular dealership.
In order to substantiate my claims regarding the fake Yelp reviews, I have gathered evidence in the form of two photos. These photos provide a tangible proof of the deceptive practices employed by the dealership. I am more than willing to share this evidence with anyone who questions the authenticity of my statements.
Exercise caution when interacting with this particular dealership and consider the evidence that I have presented. Let us collectively promote honesty and fairness in the marketplace by supporting businesses that genuinely value their customers' experiences.
To end in a good note, I always dealt with Yesi when possible as she's very honest and very sweet and very thorough .

I don't know if they actually have salesman here or maybe I just got the wrong one.
In sales I'm pretty sure the only thing that matters is if a customer buys or not. I called an hour before close and said "can I make it in time before you close?" Then the salesman told me "ehh yea idk the managers wouldn't be too happy about a late night deal" ........
Idk if it's the owners over there or management or what? But these guys clearly don't want to make a sale at all. If a customer says I'm ready to buy today if you can help me and a salesman curves someone from coming into the dealership and then also doesn't follow up with that customer the next day.... That's not a salesman.. sorry.
I asked for some common insight on what car would be a good fit for me and was told "we are Honda bro, name speaks for itself". Like I'm begging to be sold something at this point and that's the best way to make sure I don't spend my money with you. I bought my first Honda CRV the first year they came out, since than I have bought 2 other CRVs. Each one bought from Sierra Honda and for 26 years I have had all my service done there. Even though friends constantly told me I could save money going to an independent shop. I wanted my service done according to Honda specs and with genuine Honda parts. On April 9th I took my car in for normal service. The car was running fine, no problems. In the afternoon I received a call telling me that the service tech suggested I needed 1-Replace Spark Plugs-Iridium. 2-Cylinder Valve Adjustment. 3-Replace Drive Belt.
I mistakenly agreed. After paying $1,523.67 I took the car. Two blocks from the dealer I stopped at a red light and noticed the car slightly shaking and I also noticed a louder engine noise. I continued home and kept hearing the louder than usual engine noise and the constant shaking when I stopped. I took the car back, they kept it overnight and I received a call basically telling me nothing could be done about the problem and that was it. We had a great experience car shopping at this dealership.
Our sales associate Brandon, was top notch.
He was extremely helpful even though he said he was new to the industry.
He answered all our questions truthfully and was transparent throughout the process from beginning to end even though we didn't buy a Honda.
We would definitely consider coming back to buy another car here.
Our finance manager Winston, was also very easy to work with and not pushy at all and made the transaction extremely easy.

I , bought a car from a salesman name Albert ! He , was so kind to us and my family! We were there a short amount of time! I had my daughter and six little grandkids lol. Albert was a joy to work with. It was very smooth. I recommend if you go there, ask for Albert and the manager that was there that night was also nice.

Sierra Honda is now my #1 choice in car care. Darrell, my Service Advisor, my
always makes sure he pays attention to all details and always follows up. I always feel confident when working with Darryl.
Mr. Howard, the service manager, is amazing also and makes sure that every customer is satisfied. I've seen it personally and didn't even know he was the manager and they day your first impression is always the lasting! Sep 22, 2023Previous reviewTook my car back to allow Sierra Honda to give me a more amazing experience and want to make sure that they were sincere regarding making it right.
Mr. Howard helped me get things straight, and so I took my car back two days later. I pulled up and gave my name, and the service advisor DARRYL knew everything, and he was super friendly and tried his best to get me out on time. Darryl even went out his way to make sure my experience was super great.
Darryl understood the assignment and took ownership of something that he wasn't a part of but made me feel heard and understood everything and my car game back better than before.
I will say is the carnij tue rental department made me and my granddaughter late to work and school. Darryl went over around 7:30 a.m., and I didn't leave until
8:15 am. She was not too and may have just gotten off to a bad start of her morning. helpful.
