The famed Santa Anita Park. I've been wanting to come here for many years to watch a race.
The park's well-manicured landscapes serve as a testament to the meticulous care and attention to detail that goes into maintaining such a storied venue. The recent rains have only accentuated this beauty
As for the races themselves, the experience of staying for thrilling contests is nothing short of captivating.
The generosity of free parking and entry was is the cherry on top of an already delightful experience.
Visiting various tracks throughout the country, Santa Anita Park stands as a beacon for enthusiasts of the sport, a place where the spirit of horse racing is alive and thriving amidst the splendor of its surroundings. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado or a newcomer to the track, Santa Anita promises an experience that gallops straight into your heart.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 15, 2024
I was very disappointed this year we had Sunday Easter Brunch last year by the race track it was amazing, we wanted to make it a tradition, it was a part of 6!!
I went online to put the tickets this year m to find out they only sold minimum of 4 maximum of 4 guests tickets by Ticketmaster by the way , I called left a message never got a call back!!
So I called back, spoke to someone
Was told yes new protocol is only 4 people to a table, even if you purchase an addition table for 4 and only need to seats !!
No guarantee you will sit together!
It's Easter for haven sakes !! It's a family event !!
I was offered a BBQ
Or the indoor sitting which is not what we want.
We will have our family holiday, somewhere else
We vote with our pockets , sorry today
Not very family friendly per say!!
Sad news friend !!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I've been to Santa Anita Race Track many times. My mom would bring me when I was young. I wanted to be a jockey, but she felt it was too dangerous, so she enrolled me in riding lessons instead. To this day I prefer an English saddle over Western.
My dear friend and neighbor had her birthday celebration here and invited me to join the festivities. She rented a suite with a buffet of delicious eats: fresh fruit, various cheeses, crudité, wings, sandwiches, & dessert. Wine & champagne were complimentary and cocktails were available for purchase.
In honor of her birthday one of the races was dedicated to her. In addition, we were treated to a VIP tour and got to see the magnificent Thoroughbreds in the paddock before the race. We stood in the walking ring as they made their way to the track and had a front row seat for the race. We also got to stand in the winner's circle, which was a dream come true for me! The ladies that took us on the tour were delightful and provided lots of interesting information. Our bartender was also fantastic. I had such a wonderful time and really enjoyed this one in a lifetime opportunity.
Lucky Baldwin founded the original Santa Anita Racetrack a few blocks east of its current location in 1907. Dr Charles H Shrub & Hal Roach opened the new track in its current location on Christmas 1934. Santa Anita is home to numerous prestigious races - Santa Anita Derby, Santa Anita Handicap, & The Breeders' Cup.

Santa Anita race track is just not for the races! The clubhouse restaurant is phenomenal. The food is great the service impeccable. While you're enjoying your lunch you can bet on the horses. You have an excellent view either on screen or visually on the track. If you want a great afternoon With great food at a decent price this is the place to go. Relaxing and fun at the same time. My burger was perfect. My sons quesadilla was yummy. The shrimp cocktail Perfect. And let's not even mention that apple strudel! It was absolutely the best I've ever had. So take a little break and enjoy a lunch along with relaxation and excitement at Santa Anita.
Great for girls afternoon out, family gathering, birthday celebration or just a quick get away.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Mar 24, 2024Previous reviewSanta Anita isn't just for horse races! In their clubhouse restaurant you will find five star dining. Food is fantastic. Service impeccable. And as you relax having lunch you can watch the races from your table and make bets just steps away. A great way to spend an afternoon with friends and family with just the cost if a meal ( unless your the betting kind)
The burgers, the shrimp cocktail. Quesadillas, and charcuterie board were all fabulous. And let's not talk about the apple strudel... Absolutely out of this world! Absolutely recommend the clubhouse restaurant at Santa Anita racetrack. - Jan 13, 2024
First time visiting Santa Anita park for the horse races. It was a great time. Easy parking, cheap entry, plenty of places to get food/drink.
The betting is pretty easy as well. Highly recommend downloading 1st Bet on your phone so you don't have to use the old school machines at the track. The app makes it so easy to keep track of your winnings and shows the previous placements of the horses.
Overall it'a a really fun time and great way to spend a Saturday. We'll be going back again soon.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 28, 20237 check-ins
You can never go wrong at Santa Anita Park. I attend several events here throughout the year, however, today, I went to the pizza fest and had a blast. I love pizza, so I was happy trying all the pizza vendors making pizza from a cinnamon roll, and regular pizza, to a dumpling pizza. Yummy. Everything was delicious.
The staff was nice, accommodating, and informative. The place is always clean and the restrooms are kept up. Great place for events and to hang out with your family or friends. It's never too crowded and it's kid-friendly. Plenty of bars, food, and betting machines are located throughout the park. I won 50 dollars total today in winnings lol :) Good vibes and lots of fun.
Note: Parking is included in your event package.Helpful 5Thanks 2Love this 6Oh no 0 - Feb 10, 20241 check-in
Great place to watch some horse racing. They have a good number of tellers open so it's never too long to get bets in or cash out. A lot of solid views and the general central area is super nice.
I do find that there are a lot of broken tellers at times but it's never that big of a deal just on to the next one. Parking lot is also large and works wellHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 14140447Feb 6, 2024
This racetrack oversees the beautiful mountains and it is a beautiful sight to see. I've lived in Arcadia for a few years now and I've always heard of events happening here. The day that I came, there was a wine crawl where you could sample wines from various wineries which was near the track. The racetrack is well taken care of and there are various spaces you could watch and enjoy the horse races. Definitely wear your best attire and be prepared to spend money!

I love Santa Anita events! I come all the time and the events are super fun with reasonable prices. They have fun cute games to play while there, and of course betting on horses.
All the food at the festivals are very good! Good quality and very relaxing to enjoy your time with the family. It's very convenient with parking and most of the time parking is no charge or affordable.
Today I went to the beer festival and it was well worth it! Had a great time and cannot wait until next week for the Mariscos festival and chili fest the week after that.
Santa Anita park is very nice and always clean! Good vibes for sure and plenty of seating. However, I recommend bringing your own wipes or Lysol to clean the tables. They are quite dusty since they are outside. Get there early to have easier access, but other than that it's ok no hassle.
I will always be back for more festivals Ave events! It's always a blast with good planning.Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Oct 2, 2023
Came here for a networking event with food and drinks, bar in this room, but no open bar. There were couches and tables and it has steps so anywhere you sit inside this lounge, you're able to watch the races, they even brought in a person that would take bets, so you didn't have to leave this area, make sure you bring cash, no card taken. The alcoholic drinks were ok, nothing spectacular. It was a rainy day, so I appreciated the coffee and tea variety. The pastries were so good, wish that the food had been warm, it was more picnic status. Sandwich and salad, although they were really put well together. Overall this was my first time and I was pleased with my experience.
