Paychex

I have had it with paychex, Jamie Barela and Tyress Cray and Tanner Morello have all dropped the ball. I had been communicating with Tanner on my 401k and they continued to string me along. they charged me over 2500 for a fidelity self directed brokerage. they charge 150 a month for one person payroll plus fees.
I am super disappointed with the fees i have been charged and the lack of follow through. Paychex is a complete rip off. Stay away i should have stayed with ADP

I would give zero stars if that were an option. The WORST payroll company that I have EVER had the displeasure of dealing with. Do your employees a favor and DO NOT use Paychex!

Overpriced and not worth it at all. It caused me more money and time then doing the paperwork myself.

I wish I could give zero stars but that wasn't an option. I've been with Paychex since September this year. The very first payroll was screwed up!! And today it happened again! I've got 32 very concerned employees knocking on my door wondering why they haven't received their direct deposits yet. So instead of having a great Friday I'm spending 3 hours sorting out this mess and writing out checks for my people. Yeah 3 F in hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Paychex charges us $1600 a month!!!!! At that price you'd think they'd get it right. Their responsibility level is non existent. There's always an excuse! And.....they've changed "payroll specialists" on me twice! Not sure what company I'm going to move to yet but I'm 100% leaving Paychex. Any suggestions for a good company that actually does what they say they'll do.... please send your recommendations!! I'd appreciate it.

Four pay periods two of them completely screwed up. This latest one is great, payroll scheduled for Friday but because it was a bank holiday you guys decided it was OK if everybody got paid on Monday. You did happen to take the money out of our account on Thursday though. We're done with your service forever. I hope this upset I am describing dissuades others from using you.

Haven't worked for my previous employer for almost 6 years now....been receiving calls from Paychex ever since, since my previous employer is a deadbeat and doesn't pay his bills.
I've had almost a dozen different employees from Paychex say they're removing my number from his account.
Today, their collections department called me to collect on his debt.
We'll see if this person today will actually remove my number from the account.

Started out perfect but turned into a disaster very fast. Horrible customer service, poor attention to detail, and worst of all very very very difficult to get a hold of. If you want to keep your books straight with minimal stress- pay the extra few dollars to use adp. Im still trying to get my 2021 Q4 reports from paychex and its been over 6months of back and forth with nothing resolved. So horrible!

Awful just awful. Payroll rep is always changing. Payroll is often wrong. Customer Service is non-existent. Do not use this company.

Aweful awful company. Lots of mistakes are made in payroll and benefit management. Never want to work with them again. Stay away from such a unlawful agemcy.

How fun Paychex replies here to ask me to contact customer service? I did, I had loss of 5k due to Paychex mistake. My company went through all possible ways to deal with Paychex, never resolved. Customer service is not even responding now. Shame on you, Paychex! I will bring you to court!

Awful, Awful, Awful!!!. The level of incompetency at this company is astounding. I switched to Square payroll recently so paychex went ahead on their own accord and cancelled my EDD account and submitted the business as closed. i just spent two hours trying to resolve this...

DO NOT hire paychex. They are amateurs and constantly make stupid mistakes...
