It is very difficult to rent a keyboard during shelter in place. Jason was so nice and worked great with me on renting a keyboard, so my daughter can continue her piano lessons. Very reasonable pricing as well.

Nice location and kind staff. However, this place really needs to put some sound proof paddings in the rooms. Multiple instruments and singing happen all the same time and it can get really noisy and distracting. Please install sound proof cushions in each room.
Also, I notice that the staff has to multitask serving the customers on the cash register, answering phone calls, and selling candies etc while the owner sits at the counter doing nothing. This seriously eats up the precious lesson time. The owner needs to help the staff focus on teaching.
Other than the noise level and staff being the cashier, the teachers are very nice and the place is well equipped.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Ricardo R.Arcadia, CA1153Apr 19, 2019Updated review

Admin staff is always friendly and responsive. My son's trumpet teacher is very engaging and effective. My 13-year-old son looks forward to his lessons.

My son just started bass guitar lessons. He loved his teacher and was really excited. Jason who helped me book the appt did a great job of finding me a great teacher right away, he helped me rent a guitar at a really low cost and went out of his way to get me everything we needed! Awesome place!

When you want your kid to play an instrument and all they want to play is the triangle, what do you do??? Put her in voice lessons. Three months in and I can hear how my daughters voice has changed and I'm completely amazed.

My son has been taking lessons from Miss Suzanne, the violin instructor, for two years. She has raised his performance level to where he plays in his middle school's top orchestra. Suzanne demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in her instruction. She grounds the student in a proper technical foundation and infuses it with the necessary musicality to produce the optimal result. While I have never played professionally, I played violin in my college orchestra so I have familiarity with professional standards of instruction.
The staff is efficient and courteous when it comes to billing and scheduling matters.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Franky U.Monrovia, CA11Nov 5, 2015
This review is for the kindermusik class taught at this location.
My kids aged 2 and 4 have been attending this class for a couple of months now and they throughly enjoyed it. This class has taught them a lot more than just music. They have learnt to listen, focus, share and cooperate with the other kids.
A special mention to the teacher ms Ki for bringing out the best in my kids.
I would highly recommend parents to send their young kids to this class.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott H.La Vista, NE18910May 9, 2008First to Review
What a nice place to discover just south of Huntington in the heart of downtown; music instrument lessons by day and fun weekly Friday night concerts by a nice mix of talented local musicians and sometimes their students. And the Friday night admission includes all-you-can-eat desserts and drinks.
Owner Carolyn Iga deserves your support for this nice new shop.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sal C.El Monte, CA14852Dec 7, 2016
Having to pay an extra $1 for every class even if the classes are back to back is really silly. If you paid the classes in advance you don't have to pay the dollar so it's like you're paying a dollar interest for every week that you have to come pay. So I canceled my extra piano class for my son because they tried to charge me an extra dollar that kind of adds up after a while so instead I will not be giving them my extra $30 for a half hour of piano. If I find a better drum teacher I may cancel that class to.

First of all I would like to thank you for your business. I saw via your comments on our YELP page that you have been unsatisfied or irritated by our policy, and I want to apologize for that. Let me explain from another perspective, that we have installed a discount / awards program for those who pay early by cash or check, so the normal price for the lesson if paid weekly is what you have been charged.
If you feel our prices are not competitive or that the lessons are not worth the price, it is of course your choice to not choose us for your providers. At the same time, I would like to offer you the opportunity to take advantage of our largely discounted early payment program with cash back on your gift card every month. Thank you.
