Huntington Drive Medical is such an outstanding facility it puts all others to shame. The concentration here is on patient care and satisfaction. I have been treated better here than most places in my life. The level of respect, care, and compassion is beyond any expectations one could put on it. The staff, and I mean the entire staff, is the epitome of outstanding customer service and care. Each and every staff member has exhibited such professionalism and expertise it is hard to fathom. They each perform their jobs with so much care and patient awareness it is almost unbelievable. I have the utmost respect for everyone here. Raymond, our Administrator, is a leader who inspires his people to be their best and Michelle, the Director of Nurses is a leader who garners respect from her staff. I cannot imagine anywhere that I would receive better and more thorough care. Thank you Huntington Drive Health for all you do! It is a pleasure.
Special shout out to Pierre who makes everything work! What an amazing man who really knows the meaning of patient satisfaction! Everyone I've met or dealt with has patient care foremost in their mind. Awesome physical therapy team, wonderful nursing staff, great kitchen people, and even maintenance professionals care about patient comfort. Case managers are fighting for their patients. I would be happy to put any relative here, knowing they would get the best care available. Thank you, Huntington Drive Health Care. You rate 10 stars!

My mom had hip replacement surgery and was admitted here last month.
She had a good stay and was able to recover well and faster than we expected.
It was all because of the excellent care and PT/OT provided by the facility.
The case management and the nursing team went above and beyond to make sure my mother felt comfortable and able to improve her mobility quickly and safely. I am very thankful to all of the nurses and therapists who cared for my mother. Each one of them was very special to us. They were all very kind, professional, and patient.
The case manager, Pierre, always made sure that my mother got everything she needed and made sure all of my questions were answered.
He took care of my mom very well till the day she was discharged. Furthermore, Pierre followed up two days later to make sure my mom was doing ok. I appreciate this very much!
Special thank you to nurses Paulina, Jeremy, Antoan, Bong, Godwin, Gugu, and Reshanda, just to name a few, who took great care of my mom, and always gave me updates on how my mom was doing.
Also to therapist Daisy, we thank you so much for taking extra time to teach me how to care for my mom properly at home.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Ángel Agustín L.Los Angeles, CA01Mar 5, 2024

Don't put your loved ones in this so called "skilled nursing" facility. They almost killed my family member. Poor staff/patient ratio, filthy rooms, no upkeep. Staff are clearly overworked and can't keep up with patient needs. Photos are a sample of typical accommodations.

This place should be shut down they almost killed my parent ! The med nurse lied on her update to the doctor therefore he didn't make the correct decision to help my parent . We ended up call 911 where paramedics figured out in 10 seconds what was wrong ! This place is also filthy dirty without adequate staff . There is a reason the have a red flag with Medicare .

Much better service now that they are under new management. My Mom has been here since January after a head injury. Yes, they have had their challenges with COVID, inconsistent staffing but recently have amped up the CNA-patient ratio by hiring outside CNA's from the registry to assist the overwhelmed employees. The new director of nursing is awesome. They have fired some incompetent people and are really making some substantial changes. The cuisine is still healthy and delicious. Very competent nutritionists, nurses, and all staff in general is very caring and responsive. This place is not for everyone but we have had a very good experience here.

The staff has been very attentive and caring despite all the COVID restrictions they have to navigate. She loves the food and the wonderful nurses and professional staff. Great location, close to hospital , church, mall.

My husband spent about two weeks here post stroke. The case manage, Pierre really helped my husband relax, and helped lighten up the mood. The nurses were always there to answer questions, and followed through with his care. The assistants on the floor took very good care of him. The facility is kept clean which is a giant plus for me. We can't say enough about the PT/OT therapy that he received there. They were kind, effective, and were exceptional teachers teaching the patient what they needed help for them to reach their goal to recover.

My dad was sent here by his insurance company after having been in the hospital for two weeks. His health issues had made him weak and he couldn't stand or walk, so he was meant to get physical and occupational therapy at this facility. The staff seemed nice enough and all seemed to be going well, until my dad started complaining about a sore throat a day or two into his stay.
A couple of days later, in the morning he complained that he felt congestion in his chest. I was wondering why he was so quiet in our family text conversation, and when I got there at 4pm I found out why. He had his CPAP on because he had been having trouble breathing and the using the CPAP while sitting there was the only way he could breathe somewhat comfortably. He was weak and tired, and hadn't eaten all day (because he had no appetite).
They had cancelled his therapy that day because he had a fever and they gave him Tylenol. This man could not breathe and they gave him Tylenol!! I took one look at him and knew something was wrong.
I asked to speak with a supervisor, and she didn't know who he was or anything about his case. She asked a CNA to help me. The CNA was very kind and came to look at my dad. After just a few moments of trying to talk with him and looking at his pulse oximeter, which was showing a reading of 80, he talked with the supervisor and they decided to cal 911.
The paramedics came, and after a few minutes of questioning my dad and me, they decided he needed to go back to the hospital. While the paramedics were asking my dad (who could barely speak) and me questions, there was not a staff member to be found! There should have been someone right there with my dad's chart answering all of the paramedics' questions, but nobody was there to help with any information.
They transported my dad to the hospital, and after a CT scan just a few hours later, they informed us my dad had double pneumonia - 80% in one lung, 40% in the other!!
What on earth were the folks at Huntington Drive Rehab Center doing if not watching out for my dad's well-being?? Someone should have taken action long before I did, and he should have been taken to the hospital hours sooner than he was!!
Each time my family members and I went there to visit my dad during the five days he was there, it seemed like utter chaos. Sometimes we had had to take a COVID test, sometimes we didn't. Sometimes they instructed us to wear the KN-95 mask they provided, sometimes they did not. During one visit, one nurse said my nephews could visit my dad, but when they got in his room, another nurse came in and got upset that my nephews were there and made them leave immediately. That situation was very confusing and upsetting for my dad and my nephews.
Bottom line is, I recommend avoiding this facility, but if that is not possible due to insurance or other circumstances, just make sure you keep a close watch on your loved ones staying there.
My dad has a long road of recovery ahead of him, and I am sure it's worse because of incompetence on the part of the staff at this facility.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 3 - A N.CA, CA98165164Oct 21, 2022
I had a family member that was transferred to this facility. The facility was dirty and unresponsive to our family's concerns. Would not recommend going to this facility.

If I could leave no stars I would. Poor communication. My mother stayed here 3 weeks. No one knew her day to shower or helped to use the commode. My mom showers every other day. It was do sad she kept asking about her shower. I asked daily. Administration never returned calls. Very unprofessional. Cna's were yelled at in front of patients. Who does that? Poor Cna. I was so angry to see the ridicule. Nurses overwhelmed no help to chart. Place is dated. No one has a plan to deal with covid or evidence based approach. Like dumb and dumber with the administration. Pathetic. See who comes to visit.
