Glenn Ho, MD - Arcadia Primary Care Physicians

I do not recommend coming here. I had to come into Dr. Glenn Ho's office for a clearance of a physical for pre-employment through my work. I had an appt at 9:45.. it is currently 10:32 and I have still not been seen! Very unprofessional to not have good time management. If there was a delay in something that is causing a delay in all the appts they should come and communicate that with everyone waiting so everyone can have a better understanding but still have better time management! Very inconsiderate of other peoples time.

When you finally get to see the Dr. everything is fine, he is nice and everything the problem is everything else about the place. The staff are not the nicest staff to deal with. The worst thing about this place is the wait time. They take you from the waiting room to a patient room fairly quick, but then you sit in the room and wait forever. I have waited to be seen by the doctor for up to an hour and a half, yet for some reason I have been there multiple times and each time I had to wait for over an hour to be seen. I am never going back there again and don't recommend this place at all.

I know that Dr. Ho was not the reason that my grandmother's cancer came back, but if he had done a little more investigating as to why she had shooting pain down her leg, I think her cancer could have been detected and treated much sooner then it was. He just treated her for pain and never bothered to do an X-ray of her lower back. Since colon cancer often returns in that area, you think he could have ordered an X-ray. Instead, she got to the point where she was in so much pain that I had to take her to the ER where they x-rayed her back and found the cancer. Everytime I drive down Baldwin and see his office, I'm reminded of the needless pain my grandmother was in for months. It's been many years, but this low rating is well-deserved..... Oh, and we had to wait forever then, so it sounds like nothing has changed.

I have met Dr. Ho multiple times, he's always nice, professional and informative. He is not the problem - his staff is! The receptionists and assistants are rude and have no concept of customer service or how to be empathetic towards their patients. They are just not helpful at all. Unfortunately, it is bad enough to look for another physician. Very disappointing!

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I walked in to accompany my brother for a checkup, and the lazy receptionist who just woke up from a nap rudely responded that he refused to see a patient without an appointment.

You can tell a lot about a doctor from the way he treats people. Don't bother wasting your time here.

Imagine going into a restaurant, ordering food and sitting there staring at your empty plate for forty minutes only to find out that there were no cooks in the kitchen.

That was how my experience was like at Dr. Ho's office. I went in, filled out forms, and waited forty minutes. The receptionist took no initiative in telling me that HE WASN'T EVEN IN THE OFFICE. I had to get up myself after waiting for a doctor who wasn't even there to ask the unresponsive receptionist with an attitude problem what was wrong.

This kind of treatment towards patients is unacceptable. I have nothing to say about the doctor, as I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO SEE HIM, but their staff is the most irresponsible I've come across in any doctor's office.

Unless you like wasting your time, do not come here. They have no coordination, zero communication skills, and a receptionist who lacks one of the minimum requirements for a cognitive human being - common sense.

I took a chance with Dr.Ho despite the bad Yelp reviews from a word of mouth referral from a friend. He's very thorough, takes his time, and actually listens to me. He never rushed me out of the office or treated me as a number like many other medical offices do. I had extremely bad migraines when coming in to see Dr.Ho, which prevented me from sleeping and getting any rest. Within 6 months of treatment the pain is non-existent. The staff was very nice and helpful. I did not notice the rudeness of the staff that people were talking about in some of the earlier reviews, perhaps there was a staff change? I love the care Dr.Ho provides!

Dr. Ho is seriously the best. Over the many years that I've been his patient, he has always been attentive, thorough, caring and down-to-earth. He has always provided more than the usual quick appointment that other doctors tend to do. In the past, other doctors rush me out the door and prescribe me a medicine within 5 minutes, and solve nothing. However, Dr.Ho always takes the time to listen to me about the symptoms that I'm experiencing, and he always goes into detail about how I should proceed. Most importantly, I know that I can trust him with any of my health concerns and he has always gotten me the help that I've needed.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Ho to anyone seeking a family doctor.

Dr. Ho has given hope to my family following my husband's massive hemorrhagic stroke. He has been performing acupuncture on my husband that has given results that are amazing both to the therapists and doctors at Methodist Hospital. His paralyzed side started to come back to life shortly after the 1st treatment. After each appointment we are amazed at the speed of his recovery.

My husband had never had acupuncture before and Dr. Ho explained everything and was so gentle. I am so thankful my husband's neurologist recommended Dr. Ho as soon as he made it out of the ICU.

Really wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring doctor. He takes his time to listen to my concerns and address my problems whenever I come in. That is something that not many other doctors I have had over the years seem to do. I like how the doctor treats his patients like family. A true "family" doctor (hahaha). The staff are all nice and respectful. I would definitely recommend him.
