Where do we park is there a charge? Are the hot tub and pool working

      A:

As of late August 2023 they were trying to institute pay parking but it was quite easy to get around if you are even slightly mobile and tried. Best to call in regards… more

I made prior reservations here for my uncle's family who came from up North for grandma's funeral.

It was $200 a night and they do serve complimentary buffet breakfast, which was very worth it for a family of 5.

Also, adults do get a free alcoholic drink a night. They even gave me the drink and buffet card without me requesting, even though I didn't stay there.

The kids enjoyed the buffet and the place was beautiful and spacious for kids to roam around freely.

Parking was $12 a night per vehicle and they handed us a paper parking placard to place on each vehicle.

Check out time was 11am, but since I am a Hilton's Gold Member I could request for a 1PM check out. Even if you're not a Hilton's Gold member, they are very accommodating and flexible.

The staff there were very friendly and professional and I mean it.

Celebrated my aunts 75th bday party here at the Embassy suites and it was a very nice time. It is easy parking and they have many spots for you to park and your guest.

The room space was perfect and very spacious. It was a bartender inside, a table for coffee and desert, and a really nice size dance floor.

They give you about 6 hours to party and have a great time! They also have a restaurant inside with good food options if you want to try.

I want to stay a night here and see how it is! I highly recommend here if you want a celebration with spaciousness. Also, you can decorate if you want! And have dinner for your party attendees. Restroom is not far away from the event room either!

We were lucky that my Mom choose this hotel for our visit. We arrived into town around dinner time. We were happy there was a restaurant in the hotel. After driving for 7 hours just wanted to eat and rest.

We were visiting the area for my grandmothers 100th Birthday celebration. Long days..lots of visiting with family. We only were able to enjoy the hotels morning breakfast, pool and hot tub.
We did not have time to check out their complimentary reception time. Happy to know they also offered non-alcoholic beverages for non drinkers in our family.

Their lobby seemed huge. A lot of different little areas to hang out. Seemed like sectioned off little living rooms.

Everyone we talked with was very friendly and helpful. From the restaurant, breakfast room to house keeping.

Room was comfortable. Has a little living room when you first walk in. A little table, sink, fridge and microwave. I did not even notice the microwave at first it's hidden out of the way under the sink.

I attended my great aunt's 75th birthday party and it was nice. The service ok and the Titanium room she had the party at was spacious with a big dance floor. Food , drinks and dessert was good. The chicken dinner, I heard was not that good it was a hit and miss with people at the party. Some people liked it and some did not. I had the salmon dinner and it was good. The bartender, Rodrigo kept the alcohol drinks flowing and was very kindhearted.

I'm sad to have to rate a Hilton property at 2's because I love all Hilton properties. Everything in the hotel from entrance to lobby area, kitchen and restaurant was beautiful and seemed it's been renovated. The breakfast food was ok, not all great as to other Embassy hotels. The pool was ok, nothing special, had to ask housekeeping for pool towels. As for the rooms not so much. The AC seemed like it needs a whole new filter change, room made my children sick because of dust. The sink in the front was clogged and it took almost 3 hours for water to drain. The bathroom was so small and the bathtub was peeling. I will
say it is a place located near the freeway and many restaurants.

I usually only rate food but in this case it's the food and the hotel. The hotel is older and could use some touch-up. The HVAC is a two pipe system, meaning it's either hot or cold in the rooms. There is no in-between. The thermostat can be set on 50.5 and you'll be lucky to get 65 degrees. Two of the 4 elevators are out of order, which gums things up at breakfast time. The continental breakfast is pretty standard. The restaurant has a good menu with variety. I had the Caesar salad and the turkey club. The Caesar had sun dried tomatoes which added a unique flavor. The club and fries were very tasty, although the sandwich was so big it was hard to eat. If you're a Hilton fan that likes to stay on lower floors and not venture out for food, a few days here is not that bad. Two stars for temperature control.

      Pros: The breakfast was great.
Con's : The room had a musty , moldy and smoky smell . The room was very outdated with ripped and old furniture. I understand paying to park a day in a hotel, but 12.00 dollars every time you exit is ridiculous. Plus the desk clerk one time told me he couldn't open the gate for my delivery from desk and then the next day someone did. Make it make sense . I could go on , but just very disappointed in this hotel

We arrived late in the evening. The hotel was nice and quiet. The rooms were okay. Seeing as how we stayed at the Embassy Suites La Jolla the night prior, you could feel the difference. The King Room was a bit smaller but it worked. The bed was comfy. It was hard to find the light switches, especially in the restroom. But overall, it was a good stay.

The breakfast spread is always the best part of the spread as they do a really nice job with providing delicious options. We'd stay again.

So disappointed with this establishment. In the past we've had good experiences, but tonight as we arrived we were sadly informed that the hotel concierge gave away our room. We had made reservations the week prior to staying here AND PAID for it in advance. I am so disgusted by the lack of care and attention that was given to my family and I. And to think we went out of our way to stay here... sadly, I doubt we will be back. Goodbye embassy suites.

I don't typically stay at Hiltons, so not sure if my experience is typical of Hilton-branded hotels...

As others have mentioned, this hotel is nicely situated around several walkable plazas that have good dining options, making it very convenient even if you don't have a car. Other pros for this hotel include: abundant parking, happy hour between 5-7PM where you can get 2 free alcoholic beverages per adult per room, gym with a Peloton, and free continental breakfast with a made-to-order omelet bar. Otherwise, I found the rooms quite outdated, the beds super saggy, and the water pressure in the shower DISMAL, but the lobby is newly renovated and enjoyable.

This Hilton is quite 'stingy', meaning that they will not provide amenities unless you ask for them, and they shut down the breakfast bar basically as soon as it is 9AM and not a second later. SO...for you to get the most bang for your buck:

      1. Make sure you get to the breakfast bar at least half an hour before 9AM, especially if you want an omelet from the omelet bar. The line can get long!

      2. There are complimentary water bottles behind the front desk and a water dispenser in the gym. DON'T BUY THE SMART WATER FROM THE SHOP like I did (unless you actually want Smart Water) because I didn't know that this was an amenity they offered. Usually, I've seen Hiltons offer bottles of water on check-in, but again, this place is stingy.

      3. Get your happy hour!! They offer well drinks, non alcoholic beverages, and one or two selections of beers and wines.

One thing that really irked us during this stay was the delay on check-in. We arrived close to 5PM, well after the check-in time of 4PM and our room was still not ready. The front desk stated the room hadn't been checked by housekeeping yet. They didn't offer any comps....or even just the wifi password and our HH cards?!?! They just told us to sit down in the lobby and wait. My partner is a diamond member so the way they handled the situation was super subpar.
