Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Ok well, only the 2nd time eating at a Dickeys but not bad. Those breads they give you though are funny cause they are super tiny and can be eaten in basically two bites. Secondly I believe my meal cost very close to $20 bucks, yikes! That price point is more than likely keeping us from continuing to come back. I can go to a sit down and pay just as much as the meals here, yeesh.

Besides that, there was hardly anyone there so it was quiet. The temperature inside was absolutely perfect too, makes a difference. Employees were courteous and helpful but man that price point. Good food but I would rather go to an actual sit down restaurant of im paying this price

Dickeys BBQ Pit serves up a delightful BBQ experience. With a plethora of combo deals, it offers real value for money. The ribs, in particular, are a standout, flavorful and tender. Beyond the mouth-watering food, the staff contributes to the positive experience, being both courteous and friendly. The establishment is well-maintained and clean, making diners feel comfortable. The only tiny hiccup is the absence of the previously offered free ice cream, which would have been a sweet end to the meal.

Wanted to order the smoke turkey, found out it's discontinued. Main reason I came. Major disappointment.

Ended up ordering the 3 meat plate: Double Brisket and Jalapeño sausage. It was this or go to the Spaghetti Factory. Was not in the mood for pasta.

Meats came out of a holding tank. Was cool, very minimal warmth. Why is it so difficult to get meat that is at the very least warm. Hot is asking too much apparently.

Food not flavorful when it's cool. Based on not having smoked turkey, and food lacking any warmth, will not be returning.

At least I got an extra $5 off with the Entertainment Book, but would gladly have paid extra for hotter food.

This is my 2nd review. I recently left a poor review of this establishment. Management responded to email them so they can make it right. I emailed them and they never responded. They only did that to try to make it look like they care on yelp. They don't. Never again.

Placed my order online about 3 hours prior to my desired pick up time. I arrived about 8 minutes early and walked in.
There were 2 employees behind the counter, 3 people waiting in line to place their orders, 1 person in line waiting to pick up their order and then me.

It took about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and asked how they can help me. I told the man, that I was there for an online order, gave him my name and the order.
My food was ready and waiting for me, they just needed to back up the rolls. I eventually walked out of there 8 minutes after my pick up time. Not bad, but I think they can use more employees, especially during the peak times.

Parking: there's plenty of it. It's located at the far end of the plaza (opposite of the Target).

I ordered the XL pack (3 meats) and 3 medium sides and 8 rolls.

The Chicken Breast, Pork burnt ends and the pork ribs we're all super tender and juicy! The pork just fell off the bone.
The bbq sauce is on the side - which is great, since my family is not big fans of BBQ sauce in general. The one we ordered with the meal was the sweet version, so it was a good. I used it in moderation.
The sides we got were Cabbage Slaw, Creamed Spinach and the potato salad.

The slaw was good and the creamed spinach was just a tad rich. The potato salad was my favorite side out of them all - nice chunks of potato.

Based on the quality of the food - I would come back, but they truly need more help behind the counter.

They are really slow and forgot some important sides in my order. The food isn't that great either.

Food was cold and owner or manager was not friendly at all. Looks like this location needs help.

This location has gone down in quality for a while now over the last couple of years it used to be really good but I think they might have like a high overhead and maybe not enough customers because the quality has gone down for sure it used to be great though I might be going back soon just to see if it got better or if it's still doing what it was doing

Food is great but service sucks. Went today and man juts felt down after I walked in the young kids that work there just have no customer service skill and look and sound like they hate there jobs . They don't make you feel welcomed at all , you can feel
How they hate there job . Also again they forgot my sides and I don't live close so sucks when I get home and found out I get charged for side abs don't have them .

This Dickey's Barbecue Pit location can be found in the same plaza as Target, specifically next door to the T-Mobile store.

I came to this location twice and both times the service was just average. The first time I came, I made an order online and picked my order in the afternoon on a Sunday. The female employee gave me a hard time when picking up my order because it didn't have my name on it. When I made my order online, it never asked for my name but I had written in the comments to request for the barbecue sauce to be placed on the side.

When I came a second time, I ordered online and chose to have pick up time at 11:30 am (the store opens at 11 am) on a Thursday and still had to wait another 30 minutes after I arrived for my order to be ready.

Over these two visits, this is what I ordered:

Pulled Pork Sandwich, $7.99 prior to tax ($8.81 after tax)- I ordered this for my mom and she really liked it. I did not have any but my mom thought the pork was tender and thought it was a good portion size for her (she is typically a small eater).

Turkey Classic Sandwich, $8.25 prior to tax ($9.10 after)- I opted to get myself a turkey sandwich. The amount of turkey was nice and meaty and thick slices. But I thought the turkey was too smoky, which I did not like. I know Dickey's Barbecue Pit is known for barbecue but I think the smoky flavor is a bit too overkill. Also I felt that the turkey could have been better if it was a little less salty.
