Cabrera's Restaurant - Arcadia

Our Church had a banquet that we needed catering. We have 2 banquets every year for the past 10 years. By far...this was the best catering service we used!! The food was delivered in warming boxes so our food was actually warm when it was served. We will definitely be using them again at our next banquet.

I highly recommend Cabrera's Restaurant. The food and service was amazing! We had a large party (19 of us) and were celebrating 2 birthdays. The staff celebrated the birthdays in a fun, special way. Great place!!

Excellent service. This is our 3rd time back and we were not disappointed. Staff is genuine and they make you feel like family. Our waitress Maira even remembered our names!!! All the staff greets you and they all help each other out. Love Yvonne's positive energy and help. If you wish to enjoy Mexican food and service, you have to come and try it out.

Ok. This was an odd find for a spur-of-the-moment take out experience. I normally go to Alex Di Peppe's, but they weren't open, so I ended up giving this restaurant a shot. Sorry. But they lost me at 22% mandatory tip via Walk-in Take out. They should have mentioned that up front, but I wasn't informed whatsoever.

I'm not sure why there was a mandatory tip of 22% when I was having a take out order. It was during peak hours, but I never was asked to tip in any where at all about the 22% tip from Any Take Out experience Not Dine-In.

I don't get that, because having paid that, I would have just dined in outside patio. But I was seriously in a hurry so this had to be a take out experience.

Also, the food I ordered, 'Carne Asada Nachos with rice,' turned out to be a CATERING size not a personal sized dish. It was pricey for mandatory 22% tip on a take out experience i will not understand, And the menu didn't specify it was for a Catering size.

So. I was just looking for a personal sized dish not That huge. There was no way for me to eat this entire order, but even if i placed the catering tray inside the fridge, it would have tasted all weird the next day.

I appreciated given an extra bag of chips and ample salsa and cream cheese. I just don't understand the mandatory 22% Tip for a 'Take Out,' experience.

Over half the dish is now soggy because the order was so huge I didn't expect, please state the serving size on your menu.

I won't be coming back. I'm sticking to Alex Di Peppe's.

Food: We came here because of the coupon that we got from our coupon booklet. Our first time was a very good experience. The foods were delicious and big size too. I enjoyed their juicy beef burritos . And our third time, I ordered Botana and it was bomb , crispy and tasty! Love it! Oh, they also serve chip and sauces as an appetizer before the main dish.

Ambiance: A nice cozy restaurant with a warm and inviting space with intimate seating arrangements and soft lighting. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable, making it ideal for a leisurely meal or intimate conversation. The decor might feature warm colors and rustic elements. Overall, it's a place where patrons can unwind, enjoy good food, and feel right at home.

Service: they have good waiters/waitresses and they are attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. They greet customers warmly, take orders promptly, and ensure that each diner's needs are met throughout the meal. Valentin was our waiter, he was proactive in anticipating guests' needs, whether it's refilling drinks, providing recommendations, or accommodating special requests. He handled any issues or concerns with professionalism and grace, striving to make the dining experience as enjoyable as possible for us. He was very caring and knowing what we needed (impressive!). And, he was really hilarious. He got us to-go boxes before we asked him and we asked how did he know, and he said "I can feel your laser eyes following me." His humor and caring character was very welcoming. Overall, he left us with a positive and memorable dining experience. We were very honored to have a picture taken with him.

We are new to Arcadia & we decided to try this place out. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I love everything about this restaurant. Hands down THEEEE BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. Not only is the food DELICIOUS, the service here is by far the best service I have ever received from a restaurant. The restaurant and bathroom is very clean. The waitresses /waiters are checking on you constantly. Today was my son's birthday and they sang happy birthday to him. It was soooo cute. The steak fajitas are to die for.

Terrific customer service at this homey mom and pop Mexican restaurant. We were looking to find an establishment that would have the Dodger game on and found this gem in Arcadia. Family owned with a friendly and hospitable vibe. Everyone is friendly and gracious and always checking to see if you're comfortable and need anything. Our party enjoyed the chili verde, chicken fajitas and the cocido soup. The food was hearty and tasty. We complemented our meal with a couple of skinny margaritas, coconut margarita and a dark beer. Chips and salsa were complementary as well. All in all, a really great meal.

This was such a fun restaurant! The music was blasting and the staff super friendly. The portions are large, so you'll definitely be full no matter what you order. I love love love their chip drawer which is refilled with fresh chips on the regular.

So coming here was the first time I had ever been to a sit down Mexican restaurant, and it did not disappoint. I can't say too much about the food because it was honestly my first time trying these dishes and I don't have a frame of reference, but the service was amazing!
Soon after we came in and sat down, the lights turned off and a (what felt like) 5 minute birthday celebration for two of the nearby tables proceeded. It was so fun to watch all of the staff and customers celebrate! Our waitress was super accommodating, and for the rest of the night we had different staff members continue to check up on us and how we were liking the food.
Anyway, I've been converted. Mexican food is now one of my favorite cuisines.
