Anytime Fitness

I could not rave about this gym any more than I already have to my friends and family!

I was just leaving more of a super-packed, influencer like, very 'what you would expect from' an LA gym, and was looking for another gym to commit to. I wasn't a fan of being in a space that was super crowded, nor constantly being in the back of people's videos (no shame) so I was hoping to find a smaller gym that had everything I needed.

When I say the trainers here are intentional -- I mean they are INTENTIONAL. DJ (the best!!) gave me a tour of the gym and asked me honest questions about my fitness journey and allowed me to ask him honest questions about the space, the equipment, and especially the busyness. Though he was making Anytime Fitness seem like the next big thing, he never came across as being too pushy or even too quick and impersonal with my first visit here; just rather passionate about this gym and about seeing people show up and keep growing here. (Come to find out Anytime Fitness WAS the next big thing for me and my fitness journey!!)

I am SO grateful that I went with my gut and chose Anytime Fitness.

The space is always clean, their bathrooms are spotless and...they have HAIR TIES and feminine products. When I saw the hair ties, I knew I was in the right place. And you do In-Body scans to track progress and set fitness goals and routines with trainers?? Need I say more.

3.5 months later, still here at this gym, and loving it, I've come at 6 am and 5 pm and still there are never too many people here.

Come here for very kind trainers and people, leave with some major gains. You won't regret joining this community!!!

I was pretty disappointed by the size and lack of equipment at this Arcadia location. My tour lasted 30 seconds, and I was uninspired to work out here.

First off, you make an appointment, but nobody is there to greet you when you arrive. You're stuck at the rear door like a creeper. Then, you get the 30-second tour of limited weights and equipment. I went at noon, and there were five people inside.

This gym isn't for you if you're a moderate weight lifter. They don't have any benches for barbells except a smith machine. If you want to do some light lifting with dumbbells and run on the treadmill with minimal people, then this place is perfect.

Going further, they don't have any real strength machines for the upper and lower body. It's very limited. Not even a basic bench for preacher curls. It's very disappointing because this could be a good concept.

As for the price, which they DON'T advertise, it's a scam. You pay bi-monthly. I don't recall the exact numbers, but if you link your bank account, it comes out to 65 dollars a month, and if you don't link your bank account, it comes out to 70 dollars a month. Give or take a few dollars.

Another annoying thing is that you have to go to your home Anytime location 70% percent of the time, or you will be flagged and have to switch locations. I think that's how it was explained to me. They do this because you're paying your home Anytime location, not the one you're visiting and they all charge differently. So in essence you could pay less to workout at a more expensive location.

I love this gym!! The trainers are so knowledgeable, they make it a point to introduce the new members to everyone in the gym. It's not crowded and it's very clean. There are sanitizing stations all over, everyone is mindful of wiping down the machines. Anytime Fitness is like no other gym. I'm a senior and I look forward to my workout. I have a great deal of confidence in these trainers. They take good care of me!!

The equipment is fine, but the gym is overpriced for what's available, and when I asked why my friend who enrolled in the Pasadena location was paying 43% less for her membership, I was met with incredible unprofessionalism from Toni, the Arcadia manager.

Not only was Toni not able to sufficiently explain why the dues were so differently priced, she was hostile to my friend, raising her voice on a phone call and threatening to lock her out of the Arcadia location. I recruited my friend to join so we could both work out at the same gym. I regret this decision and cancelled my contract as soon as I could given the way we were both treated by the management.

I signed up to do small group training at the Anytime Fitness in Arcadia. I had been doing yoga and pilates for a long time, but I have neither ever worked out with weights nor done circuit training. And at the age of 65, I knew I had to step things up. I found just a great crew of trainers at the gym, smart, professional, friendly, and willing to listen and work with me. I have been very committed to my workouts and I am seeing the results in just how I feel. And I feel that I have a great support network to cheer me on, not let me slack, and continuously up the ante so I can do more. I am ever so grateful.

Writing this review to save people time if they're interested in the 7 free day trial period like I was.

It is no longer a 7 free day trial regardless of what the website says. Sales rep said the gym is getting busy so they can do a 1 day free trial but it seems like if you push you can ask for more. Free trial does not include 24 hr access it is only when the sales rep are in the office. Price is 75$ a month with a 1 year contract and you can only cancel if you move to a vicinity without an Anytime fitness gym.

Overall the place looked clean but I'm not sure if it's worth 3x the price of 24 hr. The gym is relatively small so I can see it being crowded if too many people sign up.

Of the line and in perfect working condition. Most people are professionals or very serious exercise/body builder enthusiasts. I wish I had found this place sooner.

Anytime fitness is hands down my favorite gym. This location is always spotless and the machines are well taken care off. The team members are friendly and helpful.

The trainers are knowledgeable, kind, and patient! The machines are well maintained and the gym itself is clean and safe. I feel good coming here alone and the environment is energetic.
